Through the PBIS framework, Perry staff supports all students by providing Universal guidance and expectations that teach and regularly reward healthy and positive behaviors.  Perry students engage in specific lessons each week (Cool Tools) that focus on different school settings and how students demonstrate respect to Property, All others, Learning and Self (“PALS”) in each setting.  School-wide expectations for these settings are in place to provide consistency.  Additionally, all students receive Second Step, a daily social-emotional curriculum designed to promote conflict resolution and reduce bullying behavior.  Positive behavior is rewarded regular by a “Perry Pride” for individual accomplishments throughout the year.  Also, new this year is our Karate Perry PALS program! Each child is going to be given a lanyard that will hold her colored ribbons.
